The Pacca Story

Hello, adventurers! I’m Tysen Bang. My wife Brooke and I are the heart and soul behind Pacca. My journey into the world of travel was sparked by a childhood filled with dreams, watching the world unfold through the vibrant 35mm slides of my father's European adventures. This instilled in me a deep-rooted desire to explore every corner of our magnificent planet and share its diverse cultures, people, and places with our children.

Family Travel

Traveling with kids is no small feat—it transforms the experience in ways only parents can truly understand. We faced the chaos head-on as our family grew, each trip revealing the cumbersome reality of packing for little ones. School backpacks turned into bottomless pits of chaos, from lost underwear to spilled snacks, and the strain it placed on us was undeniable. In these moments of desperation we dreamt of a simpler life, by selling the kids…Kidding.

From Idea to Reality

But instead of giving up, we asked ourselves, "Why not create the perfect travel bag for kids?" And thus, Pacca was born—a blend of our passion for travel and our newfound mission to simplify it for families everywhere.

 Our journey wasn't just about creating another bag; it was about revolutionizing how families travel. Drawing from our own travel tribulations, we envisioned a bag that wasn't just smaller but smarter. We imagined a world where kids could pack and manage their essentials, learning independence while

unburdening their parents. Our dream was to create a medium-sized, kid-friendly "one bag" that championed organization and easy access.

The road to creating Pacca wasn't straightforward. It was paved with R&D, prototyping, sourcing, and even an interview with Shark Tank—until the world came to a halt with Covid the next week. Yet, this time allowed us to refine our vision, test our designs, and, yes, accumulate a garage full of bags. But every step brought us closer to our goal.

More Than Just A Kid's Backpack

We started out to make the world’s best kids travel backpack (mission accomplished). But as sales rolled in, we noticed something unexpected—adults loved it too. Moms especially found it perfect for weekend getaways and personal carry-ons. So, we rebranded it as the Pacca-Lite: a versatile, midsize bag for travelers of all ages.

 Our love for compact, organized travel didn’t stop there. We’ve expanded our lineup with gear that brings the same simplicity, quality, and style to every kind of trip.
